Email issues RESOLVED 23/5/17

At the present time, the email connections issue appears resolved and emails are working as normal. If you are still having problems, please submit a ticket so we can investigate.

We have been monitoring the logs and noticed that some customers are using unauthenticated "Plain text" passwords for connecting to their email accounts. This will be blocked by the server.

Please check your email settings for your email program as follows:

incoming mail server: your domain name (e.g. yourdomainname.com.au, not mail.yourdomain.com.au)
outgoing mail server: your domain name (e.g. yourdomainname.com.au, not mail.yourdomain.com.au)
my server requires authenticatoin/smtp authentication: YES (important)

advanced settings:
For "IMAP"
incoming port: 993 ssl: yes
outgoing port: 465 ssl: yes

For "POP3"
incoming port: 995 ssl: yes
outgoing port: 465 ssl: yes
